Brenda Della Casa is an internationally published author, writer, blogger, columnist, speaker and casting producer who has spent the last nine years interviewing single, married and divorced men and women for a variety of television shows and articles.
Tired of seeing incredible women compare their lives to that of Cinderella, beat themselves up for a naked ring finger and lie to one another (and themselves) about men, love and proper dating behavior, Brenda set out to prove that Cinderella told a whopper of a fib and discover the real ways for women to re-write their romantic realities and create their own “Happily Ever After.”
After interviewing hundreds of single women and nearly 1,000 single, married and coupled men world-wide, Brenda not only discovered how women can realize their lives have significance regardless of their romantic status but how in doing so they can attract quality men who will call and will commit, no knocking them over the head and dragging them to the altar required. She put all of this and more into her breakthrough book, Cinderella Was a Liar: The Real Reason You Cannot Find (or Keep) a Prince, which has been published in seven countries and six languages.
Brenda is the creator and sole writer of Walking Barefoot (http:/www.strollwithoutshoes.com) , a blog dedicated to helping readers live their best life by being their best selves. The blog has over 250 daily readers and was created in February 2005.

Just stumbled across your blog for the first time. Awesome stuff. I’m impressed. Thank you so much for the place on your links. I really appreciate it. I just added this site to Out-Numbered in return. Keep in touch.

As far as “might offend” beside presumably a male writers money- or popularity-making niche, I do not see how anyone but men could be offended. Perhaps a balancing, disgusting blog where men put women down, although I actually would be offended as a man. Best I can say is it’s good (I think) to know there are that many disgusting females in the world. I had hoped, seeing your credentials, for an inspirational visit to your homepage. I see you had to let in a place that there’s always a desire for – the Jerry Springer, Oprah, and now Brenda’s site male-bashing. Can’t you leave well enough alone in that department? I’m reminded with every DVD rental that woman only need to concern themselves with not going to jail (not irreparably harming their victims and the hearts & minds of observing males), otherwise burning penises and other sexual assaults to males, innuendos and jokes are just fine. Best of luck with everything, Alan

Was “Alan” reading the same blog as the rest of us? Love the blog, Brenda, sorry there are weird dudes who stumble upon it and write dumb comments that make no sense and have no basis in reality.

Alan is my real name “Sarana.” Basis in reality I certainly have. I was having a tough day at some severely mean male bashing sites. Hoped here would brighten my day yet it had one more, among 100 threads, that I ended up in. I thought it may not be a real necessity to be here. But overall the offensive thread is fun (a bad habit making fun of others, but it what the posters want) so I know I won’t change anything. You don’t need to apologize for me as though I were your child. Best to you and everyone here, Sarana. Alan

I loved your homepage today, Brenda. Not dwelling actually helps problems, huh? And to think I always like to consider (dwell) to some eventual, achievable course of action, but admittedly it would take a LONG time. Seems my subconcious can provide the answer if I just relax and get away from it. Healthier, too. Thank you again.

Hi Brenda,
I just wanted to say thank you for creating this blog, I read it every morning at work, it brightens my day as well as inspires me at the same time! I am also reading your “Cinderella was a Liar” book and you do make some great points in the book that anywomen can take into their lives at any age. Did you live in Chicago? You posted the Reagle Beagle in today’s blog so I was thinking that you live in town. Keep up the great work!
