10 (+1) Things I Know To Be True

Projections are notoriously misleading. Instead of framing someone in the light you assume they belong in, take some time to get to know who they are, where they have been, and where they want to go.

When respect is lost, the conversation is over.

Jealousy is a waste of time.  Instead of being envious, be inspired, and never forget that there is enough to go around.

The best friends are often found in the strangest places.

We can choose to focus on what we don’t have, don’t want, or don’t like or we can be grateful for what we have, make goals and cherish the people and things we love.

Love doesn’t end just because everyone around you tells you it should.

The state of your bedroom often reflects (and influences) the state of your mind.

A nice outfit and a fancy watch will never be worth more than a good heart and a strong moral fiber.  Not to this girl, anyway.

The kindest and friendliest people are often the strongest and most courageous of the bunch.

Big egos, big talk and big entrances are often displayed by people who feel very, very small.
