So many distant places, so many people to meet. What’s “strange” to one is comforting to another. What is second-nature to the native is life-changing to the visitor.
I have found pieces of me in some of these cities, I even left my heart in one. Where will you wander off to? Who will you return as?
I’m hoping to live in Buenos Aires next! I know what you mean when you say you’ve left your heart in a place and time. The world is too big to be monogamous to just one city for the rest of our lives.
