At a hilltop club in Rome with Lorenzo Lisi, a new friend and the owner of the incredible (and famous) Pierluigi.

I just want to take a moment and express my gratitude to a few people who made my trip extra, extra special.

A huge thank you to Lorenzo Lisi from Pierluigi. There are simply no words to express my gratitude and excitement in regards to having met you. You are such a wonderful, kind, sweet, thoughtful and generous person and I am so glad to have made such a great new friend.

Thank you to Rachel for the most incredible dinner in Rome! Casa Coppelle was remarkable in ways that cannot be defined by words and the Tarte Tatin di verdure con salsa al pesto is without a doubt something served in heaven.

Thank you random boy who covered my eyes, took me to the Trevi fountain by hand and then proposed to me and took me for post-engagement wine before our inevitable breakup 1 hour later.

Thank you Capri for being the most beautiful and memorable place I have ever been.

I don’t think I have ever been this happy in my life. Capri is incredible.

Thank you Colosseum tour guide for educating me more about my people and for reminding me that I am a Roman and that means it will take a hell of a lot to bring me down.

Thank you, Peppe, for one of the best dining experiences I have ever had! Il Buco is gorgeous and your seafood pasta was dangerously good! I loved sitting and chatting with you about life, business and happiness. I really cannot wait to talk more with you about your vision. Note: He told me there is no affiliation with the restaurant in NYC. Shame, shame.
