10 Things To Never Do

Stay down for too long. Life brings us all to our knees, but, with a little push and drive, we can all stand tall once again.

Forget that each day is a gift for you to unwrap and wear however you’d like.

Waste your time with those who play games with your emotions. It’s just “plain mean”, as my friend put it. Besides, why share all of the beauty, loyalty, love, passion, compassion and tender parts of yourself with someone who doesn’t cherish them In the way you deserve for them to?

Forget that you are truly and deeply loved. If you do forget, come back here and read this reminder.

Hide or apologize for your truth. You are OK as you are. The authentic you–the one that is flawed and awkward and a little lost–is still perfect in the eyes of the universe.

Allow anyone to disrespect you without speaking up. If you don’t have the courage just yet, take small steps. Train yourself. You’ll get there.

Close up your mind or heart for too long. It’s not always easy to stay open, but how can joyful moments, good people, true love and deep and meaningful friendships walk through locked doors?

Ignore your beauty, your talents and your strengths, even if everyone else does.

Give others credit at the expense of your good sense. You know what is going on. You’re intuition is there for a reason. Trust yourself.

Forget to show gratitude for all that is good and the lessons offered from the challenges. You’re on a journey. You have blessings, opportunities and challenges just like everyone else. This is your life, and whatever it is, it’s an experience all your own. It won’t last forever. Make the most of today. If you feel you don’t have much to smile about, be grateful for the ability to see the colors in a flower, feel the warmth of the sun or the taste of your favorite fruit. There’s always something to be happy about. Let’s look together.
