Perricone MD (Acyl- Glutathione): In my world, the idea of spending $175.00 on a night cream ranks high in the “insane” category, but after hearing the raves and scooping this up with a gift certificate, I can confirm this stuff keeps its promise. If you do splurge, be smart and use super-sparingly on the areas where you need it most. I saw results in 2 weeks using it twice a day. Now, what am I going to do when it runs out?
Benefit High-Beam: I’ve never been one to shy away from the spotlight and my cheeks and brow bones share my desire to stand out. Like the Perricone concoction, this is meant to be used with discretion, and when it is, it works brilliantly. When you use too much, you look like you’re headlining a drag show.
Cover FX: Between happy hours, dinner dates and gallery openings, a girl may find herself skimping on sleep here and there. Enter: a dollop of concealor to help keep the secrets of the night before. Not one to want to spend a fortune on cover up, I purchase a compact in a my desired shade and it not only works fabulously, it lasts forever! Note: It’s far too thick to use as a foundation in my opinion. For that, check out Stilla Illuminating Foundation. Light & lovely, it’s best on the market!
Nars Bronzer: I am surrounding by women who adore playing dress-up and not one of them has ever held back in praising their bronzers. I adore Laguna and their illuminators in “Orgasm” is phenomenal. But then again, with a name like that…
Benefit Blush: Before I found their little gem of a blush in Corralista, I had a tendency to wear the wrong color (and too much of it). A little of this stuff goes a long way and it seems this particular color looks great on all skin tones.
Sleep: The one thing I wish I didn’t have in common with Enrique is debilitating insomnia (just last night, I laid awake until 4:ooAM). Not a fan of medication (sleeping pills freak me out) I am happy to have found Yogi Bedtime Herbal Tea. I tend to have to use a couple of bags in order to doze off, but it has served me well (I ran out, hence last night’s episode). Benadryl also works well but tends to cause a drowsy side effect if I get less than 8 hours. Of course, chat with your doc before sipping or popping anything and be super careful about mixing things –even herbal things–with medications.
Elizabeth Grant 3 In 1 Treatment: Having a bestie who happens to be a mega-star beauty diva has it’s perks. My dear friend, Lauren, presented me with a bag of goodies for my birthday and this fantastic treatment was hiding in the beauty booty bag. After one treatment, my nails were stronger (and super-shiny)!
True Escape Lotion: Also in LDiva’s gift bag? This gorgeous lotion! Though I am usually one to shy away from scented lotion (I want to eat–not smell– like watermelon, thank you) the Jasmine and Pomelo infused lotion is so lovely that I have been using it place of perfume (and have received a number of compliments).
