Try and spend the weekend living in the reality of the here-and-now instead of walking back into the past or daydreaming about the future. Try your best to accept that right now is all that truly exists and pay close attention to how things really are and not how things are perceived (harder than it sounds!)
Our minds control so much of how we perceive the world, relationships and situations that it can sometimes feel as though we are living on an entirely different planet from lovers, family members and friends. Try to “just be” for the next couple of days and be conscious of your own desire to label and organize people, thoughts, feelings and situations in a particular way.
